The Child-First Children's Clinic is an unit of Good Shepherd Healthcare - a firm founded and managed by the husband-wife duo of Dr.Irineu and Dr.Preethi Pereira.

Dr.Preethi Pereira, Consultant Pediatrician and Neonatologist ; did her basic medical education and pediatric specialization at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, Karnataka, and then joined the reputed children's hospital – The CHILDS Trust Hospital, Chennai for training towards acquiring the Diplomate in Pediatrics from the National Board of Examinations,New Delhi.
After successful completion of the DNB (Pediatrics), she rejoined her alma mater – Kasturba Medical College as a Lecturer in Pediatrics.
A Mangalorean born in Nigeria, she is married to the Goan Cardiovascular & Chest Surgeon -Dr.Irineu A.Pereira ; and it was not long before they decided to make the journey to Goa.
Dr.Preethi conducts dedicated clinics in Asthma & Allergy, Growth & Development, Child Obesity, General Pediatrics and Neonatology, and the Child Immunization Clinic.
In the present Covid-19 era, there was a greater emphasis on Tele-Consultations. However, Physical Consultations have resumed with standard Covid-19 precautions.
